Real Living Hours
We are pleased to share that we are now one of only 20employers in Scotland who have been awarded Real Living Hours accreditation. So what does this mean for you? It means that, as the business grows, you will continue to have security of working hours alongside the real Living Wage. You can read more about Living Hours at the link below but we have listed the highlights on the right. You can find more information about the Real Living Wage and Living Hours at www.livingwage.org.uk but here are some of the key points:
- Decent notice periods for shifts: of at least 4 weeks’ notice, with guaranteed payment if shifts are cancelled within this notice period
- The right to a contract that reflects accurate hours worked
- A guaranteed minimum of 16 hours a week (unless the worker requests otherwise
