Kiltwalk Community Fundraising

On Sunday 28th of April, a team from WEEE Scotland took on the 23 mile walk from Glasgow Green to Balloch, to raise funds for local charity, Govan Help. We are delighted to share that our Kiltwalk 2024 sponsorship total reached an impressive £2750!

This week we had the privilege of visiting the Govan Help team to present the cheque. We caught a glimpse of the remarkable work this charity is doing to support families living in Govan, and discussed with charity leaders, Viv Sawers and Stephen McFadden, how our donation could be put to the best possible use.

We’re pleased to share that the total will directly contribute to purchasing much-needed stock for the pantry—an essential service for many families and individuals in the area.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our dedicated Kiltwalk team for their commitment to the cause. We would also like to express our gratitude to our friends, family, colleagues, suppliers and customers for their incredible generosity in sponsoring us.
