Remanufacturing Award Winners

On Thursday we joined customers, colleagues, suppliers and partners at the 2024 CeeD Industry Awards at the Glasgow Hilton.  We were shortlisted in two categories, Circular Economy and Remanufacturing, and were delighted to win the Remanufacturing Award, despite being up against some stiff competition.
Over the past four years WEEE Scotland has established a pioneering remanufacturing service which provides customers with full asset management for their electronic equipment and machinery. This service was originally developed for a customer in the Food and Drink sector, and has a proven track record in this field, but the innovation has created a blueprint for a service provision which can be adapted to any sector and all types of machinery. In essence, by seeking to extend the life cycle of the individual components of electronic equipment and machinery, our services prolong the life of the electronic assets as a whole, providing an excellent example of how remanufacturing can deliver both environmental and financial benefits to customers across a wide range of industry sectors.
As always, the evening was a great success with lots of opportunities for networking and collaboration and we would like to extend our congratulations to all the winners and those shortlisted- so much talent, innovation and leadership in one room!
Lastly, a huge thank you to our team. Every person in the business makes a contribution to the success story we have created- thank you WEEE Scotland team!
